Goodbye. See you in April!
Steph and I leaving from Philadelphia International airport. Our flight was long and uncomfortable, but we slept for a good portion of it. After a good 30 minutes of staring at the gps on the plan we were allowed to stand up. Then the ever talked about customs awaited us. Steph went through just fine after answering a few questions, however my experience was not as pleasant. I handed the man a letter written from our Temple University study abroad adviser stating what I was doing in the Country and he was convinced I wrote it myself. He drilled me with questions, asked to see all of my credit cards and read through my e-mails on my blackberry and said I must be out of the Country on my scheduled flight back or they would find me. Well I made it through non the less and struggled to carry my three suitcases to the black cabs that brought us to our check in place. Rain and wind welcomed us into the city and carried us for the 20 minute walk to our residence. Then we found out we had to walk up hmm maybe 10 flights of stairs. We did it though, with all of our suitcases, and we were pleasantly surprised to be in a very nice flat with three beds, just the two of us. We are living with three guys and a bunch of girls sharing three bathrooms and a large kitchen. Very comfortable! Our adventure started with unpacking and a nap, but trust me it gets way more exciting.
